Fables: The Last Castle Reviewed by Aaron Noble Written by Bill Willingham, Art by Craig Hamilton, P. Craig Russel, Lovern Kindzierski Publisher: VertigoSynopsis: Boy Blue tells the tale of the Last Castle, and the last survivors of the Adversary's onslaught. Good Stuff: The story is great, the character development is superb. From my understanding, the vast majority of the characters in this story play bit roles in the main series. Here they shine, and especially Boy Blue. The art is beautiful. It reminds me (seriously) of the old fairy tale books my mother used to buy me. The colors fit it well. Not so Good Stuff: What happend at the end with Red Riding Hood feels like a cop-out. There's this huge buildup and then, a very predictable ending. I give this book 7/10. I'm definitely picking up a few Fables Trades
